Description

One elongated monocyte-type cell contained one erythrocyte, compressing the nucleus. A focally "adherent" similar cell, without erythrophagocytosis was detected. More than 2 erythrocytes were "adherent" to another, round monocyte.

Technical Details

Cerebrospinal fluid, cytocentrifugation, May-Grunwald-Giemsa stain.
