Description

Details of the binding of the carrier vesicle to a microtubule. Four bridges, thought to be cytoplasmic dynein arms, span the 40nm space between these two structures. The membrane of the vesicle has been fractured to expose its smooth E-face. TEM taken on 5/18/88 by C. Schroeder with Zeiss 10A operating at 80kV. Neg. 31,500X. The raw negative was scanned with an Epson Perfection V750 Pro and this high resolution image is best used for quantitative analysis.
