Description

Confocal microscope image of a 3T3 fibroblast cell. The nucleus has been stained blue, and two components of the cytoskeleton, actin microfilaments and intermediate filaments, are stained red and green respectively. The cytoskeleton forms the internal framework of the cell, giving it shape.
