Description

Cultured HeLa cells were arrested in metaphase using nocodazole, immunostained for Plk1, INCENP, or CREST and Myc, and counter stained with DAPI. The montage illustrates the effect of RNAi depletion of INCENP. Images shown are maximum Z projections of convolved widefield images.

Technical Details

Metaphase arrested cells were formaldehyde fixed, permeabilized with Triton X-100, immunostained, and z-stack images obtained at 0.2 micron intervals with a Zeiss Axiovert 200M microscope and 63x 1.4 NA objective lens.
