Confocal fluorescence time-lapse imaging of a mitotic Drosophila S2 cell expressing GFP-tubulin and treated with 100 nM taxol for 1 h before imaging to induce assembly of monopolar spindles. Images were recorded at 120 sec intervals using a spinning disc confocal microscope on a Nikon TE-200 stand with a 100x 1.4 NA Plan APO DIC objective lens and recorded with a Hamamatsu Orca-ER CCD.
