Description

Localization of XAC (Xenopus ADF/cofilin) in Xenopus keratocytes. Fluorescence microscopy of a whole cell double stained with XAC antibody (green) and TRITC-phalloidin (red). XAC in lamellipodium is excluded from the narrow zone at the extreme leading edge. Immuno-EM with localization of XAC is shown in CIL 24807 and 24808. Technical Details

Procedures for detergent extraction, immunostaining, S1 decoration, light, and EM were described previously (Svitkina et al., 1995, 1996, 1997;Verkhovsky et al., 1995; Svitkina and Borisy, 1998).
