Description

Thin section showing nucleolus of a Human neuroblastoma SK-N-SH cell imaged with a FEI Tecnai 20 energy filtered electron microscope at 200 KV and a 20 eV enegy window. Left panel shows 'phosphorus' image (yellow) computed from images taken with energy losses of 155 eV and 155 eV bracketing the phosphorus 'edge', and central panel the corresponding nitrogen distribution (green) computed from images taken at 385 eV and 415 eV. Image in right panel (blue) shows the effect of subtracting the P image from the N image.
