Description

Fluorescence images of control and nocodazole treated mitotic HeLa cells showing the effect of SUV39H1-depletion on recovery from nocodazole. The distribution of alpha-tubulin (gren) and nuclear mitotic apparatus protein (NuMA, red) show that SUV39H1-depletion does not affect spindle recovery. DAPI-stained DNA is shown in blue in the merged images at right. Cells were observed with an Olympus IX70 microscope and recorded with a Magnaview CCD camera. See Fig 6D in Kong et al., 2009, Mol Biol Cell 20:1289-1301.
